Caitlin Grant is running as a part-time candidate for the Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty Representative position for the college year of 2020/2021.

Grant is currently in her first year of a Bachelor of Arts (Joint Honours) degree where she is studying Law and French.

Grant’s key policies aim on supporting students throughout their studies in DCU.

She aims to work with those in the faculty to “debate and discuss what they want for the coming year to ensure everyone enjoys their experience and ensure they feel supported afterwards too.”

Caitlin plans to develop career guidance for those in the Humanities and Social Sciences faculty with CV assistance and promotion of events, opportunities, internships and careers that focus on the future of students after their degree.

She also wants to develop peer-to-peer mentoring, where students can share their experiences, ask each other for help, and develop a sense of belonging amongst students in the faculty.
