The Bingo Loco Live Stream returned to living rooms across the country last Saturday raising over €30,000 for Pieta House in their second virtual Bingo rave.

Over 50,000 people took part in the first live show, raising an incredible €45,000 for the Mater Foundation to support front line workers in Ireland, on the 28th March.

The team were determined to supply another evening of madness and goodwill, this time in aid of Pieta House, preventing suicide and self-harm.

The free live stream extravaganza is broadcast across social media straight to your living room where viewers are asked to donate to the chosen charity, only if they can afford it.

The organizers teased the event on Facebook saying to “expect lots of laughs, some banging tunes, celebrity special guests (maybe even a live tune or two) and much more!”

The second “Late Late Loco” virtual event, back due to popular demand had over 30,000 players and 75,000 viewers throughout, enjoying the light-hearted and energetic show. This positive group are providing a fun event to liven up your weekend which, most importantly, is in inside.

It kicked off at 8pm with bingo, music, challenges, jokes, bizarre prizes and even special guests, The Coronas.

William Meara, one of the founders of Bingo Loco said one of the reasons for doing this is to stay active as a brand when they host their usual physical events.

“The idea of being trapped at home as a collective of performers, doesn’t feel very natural, so we wanted to put something together that would keep people entertained,” said Meara.

“We were in a position where we were able to do all this, pay for all the costs of it and raise money which would mean 100 per cent of all the funds raised were going to that charity.”

Participants are also encouraged to send in photos and videos to where the best content received would be posted during the show. Details on how you can download your free bingo card are on all the Bingo Loco social media accounts.

Next weekend the team plan to take a break from the traditional Saturday night bingo rave and instead are replacing it with their first-ever Friday night Quarantine Quiz. You can sign up to play on the Bingo Loco Facebook page and there are €600 worth of prices to be won!

(Please note – Bingo Loco is only suitable for viewers aged 18 and over)
