Vito Moloney Burke elected DCUSU President despite 40% fall in voter turnout
Vito Moloney Burke was elected DCUSU President on March 9th, after securing over 80 per cent of the votes in his favour.




DCUSU Academic Affairs candidate: Callaghan Commons
Callaghan Commons is a final year analytical science student, current health and science convenor and the sole candidate for DCU Students’ Union VP for Academic Affairs.






DCUSU Oifigeach na Gaeilge candidate: Sorcha Ní Chonghaile
Sorcha Ní Chonghaile is a first year B.Ed student and one of only two candidates running for the position of Oifigeach na Gaeilge on next year’s DCUSU.

DCUSU VP for Welfare and Equality candidate: Jason Nesbitt
Jason Nesbitt would like to see a designated space in the new student hub to give students a chance to take time out from their stressful college day and look after their mental well-being.

DCUSU Presidential Candidate: Vito Moloney Burke
Vito Moloney Burke is a third year business student, the current Chairperson for the DCU Society Life Committee, and is the only candidate in the running to be the next DCU SU President.

DCUSU Engagement and Development candidate Aaron Harper
Aaron Harper is a final year Multimedia student running for VP Engagement and Development hoping to focus on long-term goals for student engagement as opposed to one-year accomplishments.

Education & Placement Candidate: Craig McHugh
Craig McHugh is a 21-year-old second year Economics, Politics & Law student. He is hoping to better the INTRA portal, start a book-swap app and hold more events on campus.
