Padraig Henry is running for DCUSU VP for Welfare and Equality because he says he wants to play an advisory role for students, tackle financial burdens and take the next step for promoting good mental health.
The first Class Rep Council (CRC) of the semester took place last Wednesday evening and saw motions passed on campus residence politics and Bank of Ireland’s FOMO campaign, while updates were also given on the Constitutional Review Committee.
Students living in on-campus accommodation in Dublin City University paid approximately €13,000 in fines in the first semester of the current academic year according to Campus Residences’ General Manager, John Gaffery.
