DIT have discarded the requirement of Garda vetting for mature students when applying to its ‘second chance education’ programme after controversial public opinion.
Trinity College Dublin Student’s Union council have passed the motion to oppose student loans, two years on from the initial rejection of the motion.
The annual President’s Award for Research was awarded to Professor Gerry McNamara, Dr Prince Anadarajah, and Professor Jens Ducree for their outstanding work in their fields of research, last week.
